Royal Quilting

Just a quick video showing my current WIP. Sorry, no head shot on this one since I was too lazy to change out of my penguin pjs.

That's such a neat technique! You should do voice-over work! And what's that cute little Hello Kitty thing in the background?

  3. Such a great little vlog!

Brilliant technique and tutorial. I love the gradual colour changes in the yarn that you're using, it's so pretty against the grey!

  4. Thanks for the sweet comments! The little guy thought that I needed an audience so that's why Miss Hello Kitty is in the background :)

  9. I LOVE the colors you are using! Really nice ombre effect so far. I'm not a knitter, but that technique looks very cool (and seems easy enough once you're used to it). Can't wait to see how your project progresses!

  11. I love that you added a video! But we didn't get to see your penguin PJs ;-) The color combo you are using looks great. I think this technique is the next square I'll be doing for the Learn-to-knit Afghan project. They call is Scale Quilting (which may or may not be the same technique, but it looks similar). It's really nice to see the technique used on a project that will be worn rather than an afghan square.
